High-Voltage Training – Level 2S

Competent Person for High-Voltage Systems – Work on Series Production Vehicles – Level 2S

DESCRIPTION
The use of high-voltage systems in vehicle engineering places entirely new demands on the qualifications of workshop and service personnel. According to DGUV Information 209-093, working on HV vehicles requires qualification as a Competent Person for High-Voltage Systems (FHV) in the field of electrical engineering.

The Level 2S high-voltage training prepares, for example, automotive electricians, mechatronics technicians, and mechanics (m/f/d) for tasks such as deactivating vehicles, securing them against reconnection, and verifying zero voltage. It also covers the replacement of HV components and electrical work in a de-energised state.

Participants may also take on technical and supervisory responsibilities within the company and are prepared accordingly.

Level 2S – A is aimed at individuals without formal vocational training – available upon request. Working on live systems requires an additional qualification – Level 3S.

Content based on DGUV Information 209-093.
